    My group's pitch     In this week content, my group presented our concept of API project called "WW1 photography gallery". We allocated the pitch into three parts, including concept introduction, targeted purpose/audience and interactional functionality. Firstly, my partner introduced the main concept. This project is designed to illustrate the photos taken in Queensland within WW1. Users can explore the website base on a timeline and map. By selecting events on the map, users can read more details about the related photos.  In addition,  users can play a simple puzzle game on this website. Sketchs:      (1) Users can click “START” or “Introduction” button to enter to the next page. When the mouse on the button, it will change the color from pink to red.     (2) After clicking "START", they will enter to the map page.          (3)  Users need to click the year on the timeline.       In this journal, I will talk about my experiences in first week as a team.     As for my first experience with my team members, working in a team is a productive way for designing a project.  The most obvious benefit of team-based cooperation is that team members can share ideas and inspire each other. When we consider about some problems individually,  it might difficult to think that from different angle. Also, it is not easy to solve all the problems alone. However, working with partners who has different academic background may provide some better solutions. The reason is that every people has their advantages. They are likely good at the subject your are not good at. Then, they can help you and give some useful suggestions. Another benefit is that team work can improve the efficiency. 1.  Visualise ideas My basic idea is creating a page including timeline and map to display the soldier portraits in World War 1.Timeline can be switched to each time point. With the timeline changed, the information on map will also change. Soldiers name and war events are shown on the map. User can click the name or events to see more information about that. Then, photo of soldier and personal detail will be shown on the right side. The map can be zoom. More specific location information can be displayed.
